About Us
On the 6th of January 1855, my ancestor John McKenzie set sail for Australia on the John Davies, arriving four months later. 170 years ago, my family began their Australian story - first settling in Fortitude Valley and later building a sawmill in the Pine Rivers region.

A lot has changed since then, but one thing that’s always stood strong is the Australian way of life. It’s a life our ancestors worked hard for, our parents loved, and one my wife and I have been lucky enough to enjoy. It’s a life of freedom, opportunity, and a country worth protecting for the next generation.
I’m not against immigration - my own family came here as immigrants. What I believe in is balance: quality over quantity, and a level that makes sure our culture and heritage remain as strong as ever.
I’m a proud Aussie, and while our country isn’t perfect, it’s still the best place on earth. My wife and I are raising two kids - a 15-year-old boy and an 11-year-old girl - and like every parent, we want them to grow up safe, happy, and free. To experience the same Australia we’ve been so fortunate to live in.
That’s why I started AussieAF. It’s more than just shirts or stubby coolers - it’s a way to celebrate what makes this country great and share a message that says: we stand for the life we love.
